A+ Triptych Template
Free to Read. Free to Subscribe. Free to Explore—for Every Age!
Many readers of this newsletter are authors who use A+ content in their KDP book descriptions. A+ content is basically FREE advertising for your books and includes graphics, comparison charts, visual product descriptions, and so much more. KDP offers 17 templates that can stand alone or combined with others to create thousands of advertising variations tailored to different products and audiences, easily and quickly. And who doesn’t love FREE advertising?
The above three-box layout, or triptych, for The Crimson Bodice is a very popular style right now—and very easy.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Rows 1 to 3
1. Create an image that is 970 x 900 px without text (in this case, just the girl on a black background). You can do this using FREE Canva.
2. Create three graphic boxes that are 970 X 300 px.
Using three copies of the 970 X 900 px graphic, split each one across the three boxes so it displays correctly. Add the text once the graphic is positioned. Save each box as a.jpg. This is easy in FREE Canva.
3. Access A+ Content: Go into your KDP account and click on the “Marketing” tab in the top bar.
Click on >“A+ Content.” Choose “Amazon.com” in the drop-down menu.
Click on >“Manage A+ Content.”
Once inside A+ Content, click on “Start creating A+ Content.”
KDP opens up to a screen that says “Add Module.”
4. Add three Standard Image & Light Text Overlay modules and only add pictures, not text. Add one of the 970 x 300 jpgs (Step 2) to each module.
That’s it. There are lots of A+ videos on YouTube. If you’d like a .pdf copy about how how to use A+ content, get my 10-page .pdf Amazon A+ Content Overview and Templates, click on the link.
